Wow! Thanks to all you Friends of Bradstock for weathering that confusing and sometimes frustrating journey that has lead us to Bradstock XVIII.
It has not been easy. Having to relocate and redefine, as well as continue to provide an amazing party that gives back in a big way.
But we've done it!
So here we go friends of Bradstock...
This year’s event will be Sunday, September 4th, 2011.
It will run from 12 Noon until 8 PM at the lovely Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck in Center Moriches. Invitations will be available on-line through our website and will be $40 Minimum General Donation or $100 Minimum Platinum Donation.
Children accompanying a donating adult are admitted free, as always.
The Minimum General Donation of $40 will provide:
Entrance for one (1) to Bradstock XVIII, 8 hours of great music, 3 beverage coupons (additional beverages can be purchased for $3; water, juice boxes and watermelon are free) and you will be donating to a tremendous cause – Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck has been providing a summer camp experience to physically challenged children for over 60 years!
The Minimum Platinum Donation of $100 includes: entrance for one (1) to the Platinum party, entrance for one (1) to Bradstock XVIII, 8 hours of great music, unlimited beverages (to include some very special brews), one free lunch ticket (to be used at Bradstock XVIII), all in addition to helping Friends of Bradstock provide funding to the Camp, Island Harvest and other civic & environmental organizations!
The U.S. Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association (CPOA) will, as in years past, have a food concession running all day. If you desire to pack a picnic basket that’s fine too! The Camp is an incredible place that will be sure to captivate you with its natural beauty and positive vibrations!
This year, limited on-site overnight camping will be available at the site. We will be registering those interested in camping on a first come, first serve basis. You must be registered in advance if you want to camp. Campers must adhere to all camp rules and leave the site better and cleaner than they found it. Registration details will soon follow.
Tee Pee Ted will be back this year and the camp also has a petting zoo that will be open for all. Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is situated on the shores of Kaler’s Pond and we will have life guards’ on duty for adults and supervised children to enjoy. Parking is available on site but carpooling is encouraged. We are still looking into the possibility of transportation to and from the Sayville, Patchogue area. Further details will follow.
Thanks again for your patience, interest and continued support in making this the best Bradstock Ever!
